I am looking for detailed instructions for replacing a side view
mirror on a 2005 chevy avalanche. I believe the 2005 is the same since
2003, so instructions which reference a model as early as 2003 should
be fine. I already have the mirror, but replacing it is touchier than
I thought because the connection actually travels down into my door.

A link to a good referance, especially one with pictures, would be sufficient.

Google Search critia:

This link provides instructions for a non oem part BUT the connections
etc should be the same...

Instructions are included for both heated and non heated with great
step by step photos.

Hope this helps.
