Some critics would say the correct question would be how many security problems have they had AND how many of them have they admitted. Hope you find an answer. |

An infinite amount. It is not possible to know for sure that you have checked for all possible holes in any program. |

The problem is not in the number of security problems, the problem is in philosophy of problem prevention. It would do no harm if Micro$oft did not wait up to 6 month to repair an obvious hole, or had approach programming from an entirely different perspective. Open Source and Linux have holes too, but we do not critisize them because they at least try to eliminate the problem. |
