How can i remove the original games ( Jawbreakers and Solitaire ) from my HP ipaq pocketpc (windows mobile 2003 Second Edition). I am looking for a solution to permanently remove the games not just to remove the shortcuts to the games via File Explorer. |

Are these programs not part of the ROM? If so you won't be getting any extra memory if that is your goal. Source http://hardware.mcse.ms/archive31-2005-2-153042.html |

Yes, these programs are part of the ROM. My objective is not to get any extra memory, i just dont want to be able to play the addictive jawbreaker. |

Sorry for not giving you my full answer....I thought I had given you another link....according to the manuals I looked at at HP for Ipaq (I chose one at random since I didn't know your specific model)...the software in ROM is not removable. Link here to HP manuals for Ipaq: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/pfinder?query=ipaq&dest_page=product&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en |

Thanks for the comment. I really would like to delete or permanently block my access to those games. I even increased 5 times the price for the solution. |

You can't remove, but you can hide it: http://home.clara.net/tixy/psion/software/NoExtras.html Hope it useful for you |

I would be very happy with any solution that would hide it and would require a hard reset to bring it back. Thanks for the suggestion but I did not understand how this "noextras" would work in my case. I also increased the price to $100. |
