I recently saw a reference (which I now can't find) to a small program
that automatically verifies Favorite links, and tells you which ones
no longer work. That feature might have been part of a general program
to help manage Internet Favorites - I'm not sure.

Can you tell me which program it was? I'm using IE6.

Hi michael2-ga:

Thanks for your question.

I was able to find the following three programs that automatically
verify your Favorites links and present you with a list of the broken
ones.

Favorites Sweeper ($12.95) - very specific to this task:
http://manitools.tripod.com/favsweep/favsweep.htm

AATools - Links Analyzer ($49.95) - comes with other administrative
tools:
http://www.glocksoft.com/links_analyzer.htm

Check Favorites ($20.00):
http://www.jrtwine.com/Products/CheckFavs/

As well, the following product looked promising, but was not an
*exact* match.

linkaGoGo (free?)
http://www.linkagogo.com/

I hope that one of these was the product that you had previously seen,
or that perhaps these are better for you than what you saw before.

If you need clarification of what I've written here, please ask before
you rate this answer.

Thanks.
