On my computer, when I go to word, open, highlight a file and rt click
to send email it opens outlook. But on the other 2 computers, all the
same, it opens firebird. When I go to email opts I see nothing. If I
go to std menu and click on email it goes to outlook, but not when I
rt click to send email  I have looked at all the options but no where
does it ask which email prog to use, How can I get it to use outlook
2000 please

I already tried that and it does not make any difference - but the
strange thing is all computers are the same with the default outlook
2000 - where the hell firebird came from I just dont know ?????

It sounds like you need to set the default Email client.

You can do this through Internet Explorer.  Open IE, click
Tools->Internet Options, click on the Programs tab, and change E-mail
to Outlook 2000.

Do you have the option of uninstalling firebird from add/remove
programs?  I'd suggest doing that and see what happens.
