If GM announces plans to or files for bankruptcy, how fast
will the stock drop to $0?

Ok to use Worldcom or Enron as reference.

If they file Ch.11, then theres a good chance the company will issue
shareholders new stocks. But during Ch.11 stockholders stop receiving
dividends.

I would be suprised if GM survives bankrupcy reorganization and its
shareholders get nothing:
- The company's shares are 88.70% held by institutions. 
- The current value of its shares are 12.80 billion while its
estimated enterprise value is 275.14 billion!
