 What an interesting project! Another source would be a large fabric
shop, such as JoAnn or Hancock Fabrics. Look in the phonebook or
online for the location near you. There is a dressmaking/home decor
fabric called sailcloth, that is considerably lighter in weight than
the cloth actually used in boat sails, and probably much less
expensive. It wasn't clear about whether you wanted actual boat sail
cloth, or what is called dressmaking sailcloth. Good luck - crabcakes.
