The latitude for Bunduburam, Ghana (note the spelling difference) is 5.5333 (5 degrees, 31 minutes, 59.88 seconds N); the longitude is -0.4667 (0 degrees, 28 minutes, 0 seconds W). There is a limit to zooming in under Google maps, so you won't get much in the way of detail. Mapquest and fallingrain.com show roads, though - still not much in the way of detail. http://www.fallingrain.com/world/GH/0/Bruburam.html says the population within 7 km is 11,299; I don't know when the population estimate was made. I also don't know how far the refugee camp is from Bunduburam itself. Search strategy: Bunduburam Ghana latitude longitude (Google gave me the option of this spelling when I typed in Bunduburum.) |

Typo: I should have typed in Buduburam (no "n"). There are 40,000 refugees in this camp according to the 7/05 video linked at this site: http://www.andycarvin.com/archives/2005/11/refugees_the_li_1.html |

According to what I've read, the regugee camp is 45 miles West of Accra. |
