Hello, Total Football II, the official player record of the NFL, has no entry for a Robert Wasem. Neither does www.football-reference.com. So your answer is: never. Unless he used a different name. Also, he might have been on a Bears roster but never played. I doubt it, though, since Google searches for "Robert Wasem" and "Bob Wasem" did not yield any football players. Thanks for using Google Answers. |

Perhaps Wasem is a misspelling? |

At http://www.chicagobears.com/history/index.cfm?cont_id=70195&nav_key=trad&subnav_key=th&show_rail=no there's a list of "1,152 players who have been on the Chicago Bears active roster for at least one NFL game from 1920 through 2000" and I don't see anything remotely like that name. It's not a very helpful question, anyway. |

Indeed, it seems that the closest spelling (if it can be considered close) in the Bears database is Robert Moser, who played for the Bears from 1951-53. ("Moser" strikes me as somewhat like "Wasem" backwards, but I suppose that's a stretch.) |
