How can you analyze media's (a woman) character as an amalgam with Achilles, Odysseus, and hector as a figure of heroic (that is, male) proportions? |

Do you mean the woman usually transcribed as "Medea" - the witch woman who helped Jason gain the Golden Fleece, had two children by him and was then betrayed by him and murdered their children by way of revenge? If so, in terms of depth of character she can only be compared with Odysseus, since both Achilles and Hector are rather simplistic warrior figures. Medea is never a warrior. |
