LADY GODIVA in SOHO NYC Saturday November 19 2005

I was leaving a shop in SOHO (NYC) with a couple of friends around1:30-2
p.m.--I looked up and there was a buck naked woman riding (slowly) on
a horse down the street (I think we were on Wooster).  A crowd of
startled people stared and snapped pictures.   Then, shortly after she
crossed Broom or Spring Street, Lady Godiva dismounted &
disappeared--although the horse was still visible, waiting to be
loaded into a trailer.

Any idea what was going on?  Music Video?  Commercial for Italian TV?

Either it was just a bet, or the Lady of the Lord of South of Houston
(Soho, probably the reelected [Lord] Mayor of NYC) was demonstrating
against a new tax on the urban peasants.
