Dear alibek-ga, Maxdax and its variations is not a word which appears in any English dictionary, and judging by the number of responses on various search engines to the word, it is not a word in other languages. It is a made up word and appears to be mainly used in the commercial environment and as a user name on internet forums. Here are some of its main uses I have found: Maxdax LLP - a company in Singapore. Also seen referred to as MaxDax. http://www.maxdax.com/ Maxdax - a software product. Also seen as MaxDax, MAXDAX and MAX DAX. This document states that it is trademark but a search of the US Trademark database does not produce any hits. ?MAXDAX is a software feature that allows the Multiband MAX 6000 to make intelligent cross-connection decisions based on predefined parameters (DAX is derived from Digital Access Cross (X) connection).? http://www.adimpleo.com/library/ascend/con698.pdf Its use as a user name on forums, examples can be seen here. http://forum.wildundhund.de/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=37&t=000004 http://www.rollingstone.de/forum/archive/index.php/t-13423.html Max Dax is a first name and surname. These are some English references to it. There are many German articles which feature the name. Dax is a surname of German origin. ?die tageszeitung, 18.10.2005 Without his songs, the 90s wouldn't have been what they were. Max Dax meets Martin Gore, the mastermind behind Depeche Mode.? http://www.signandsight.com/intodaysfeuilletons/415.html ?Pat McCarthy and Max Dax from Berlin will be doing some of the hottest Dylan covers and bootlegs that you ever did hear.? http://www.picturehouses.co.uk/site/cinemas/Greenwich/screeningroom.html ?Person in charge: Mr. Max Dax Director of Family Ministries? http://www.uwbarthco.org/iris/5p13au11.HTM It is also the name of a online Flash game. http://www.fetchfido.co.uk/games/games-offsite/max-dax.htm Surname Dax. http://www.houseofnames.com/xq/asp/s.Dax/Origin.GR/sId./qx/coatofarms_details.htm I hope this answers your question. If it does not, or the answer is unclear, then please ask for clarification of this research before rating the answer. I shall respond to the clarification request as soon as I receive it.
