How does insulin reverse ketoacidosis?

What make you think that insulin reverses ketoacidosis? The later is a
normal rsponse to carbohydrate(glucose) defficiency that has been
sustained for at least a couple of days. The former is a normal (and
immediate) response to carbohydrate excess.
