How can I found out if the Logo channel is something that's carried on
Providence Rhode Island cable televison?  If it is, what's the channel
number there?

According to the Logo website, the only provider of the Logo channel
in your area is DIRECTV on channel 263 as part of their TOTAL CHOICE®
PLUS and TOTAL CHOICE® PREMIER packages.

Truthfully, I live in Mass. and I do get the Logo channel on cable.  I
was writing to find out if the Logo channel is on cable in Providence
R.I. and if so, on what channel?

Hello petitegazelle-ga,

When I said your area, I was referring to Providence, Rhode Island.  I
apologize for the confusion.  The only television provider that
carries the Logo channel in Providence is DIRECTV on channel 263 as
part of their TOTAL CHOICE® PLUS and TOTAL CHOICE® PREMIER packages. 
Therefore it is not on any cable channel but you can get it with
satellite television on DIRECTV.

I hope this clarifies things.
