Hi again _andrew_-ga,

At last the difficulty of reading Vietnamese written without the
diacritics rears its ugly head. The letters above have some
ambiguities, and I've listed them below. In the translation itself, I
will use the meaning I think is most appropriate. If multiple
meanings are equally appropriate, I will list them.

*anh: can be "anh: you/me" or "?nh: he". In the letter, there are
places where I'm not sure whether the letter writer was referring to
himself, the receiver, or the character in the movie.
*"hoi cho tinh" can be "h?i ch? t?nh: provincial fair" or "h?i ch?
tình: love fair".

===========================Translation begins=================================
Hi A,

The film appeared to be fun and interesting right at the beginning,
the way this guy expresses his love is also very special, especially
the scene [where he's] climbing and dangling on the tree. I watched
until your family invited me over for dinner and everyone found out
that he makes 40 cents a day, then the film stopped, so I couldn't
watch it anymore; perhaps I will bring the DVD over to the laptop to
see if I can watch it there. I'm anxious about the next part.

The time at the café yesterday did seem to pass by too fast; before
you know it, it was 12 noon, if you have time then let's meet up
again.

N.

Hi N,

I used this time free from work to run to the internet service to read
your mail...I couldn't wait any longer!!! :-)

I'm happy because you also liked "The Notebook", at least the
beginning...until the part you/he go[es] to my? house for dinner!!! I
believe you will also like the rest of the film. The story of Allie
and Noah still continues..., even much more interesting, sweet and
intense!!!

Oh, another good movie that I recommend is "Lost in Translation".
This movie requires a relatively high amount of patience from the
viewer. You should try watching it and then we can discuss it, OK?

I really want to meet you again, and I will definitely make time for
another chance.

When is it more convenient for you?
A.

PS: I haven't listened to music in a while, yesterday at the
provincial fair I listened again to the song "Forever Tonight" (by
Peter Cetera)...it's very good!!! Do you know it?
=====================================End translation==========================

I understand completely secret901. Thank you for listing the
alternate meanings (in this case, it is a reference to a dinner
involving the characters in the movie). As always, your response is
very helpful and prompt!
