I'm trying to find the make and model of some Italian shoes I saw the
other day. They were brown suede with an unusual sole that sort of
wrapped up around the side and had a stitch (light green?) on the
outside, creating a water seal of some sort. The bottom of the sole
(what you walk on) was like a lug sole. The upper was roughly like
Allen Edmonds' "Ashton Model," expect lighter brown suede, as
mentioned, and the different, wrap-around attachment. I would loosely
describe the shoes as Italian "country" or "walking" shoes.

One more clue -- the soles said something like "Ilga -- Made in
Italy." It might have been "Irga" or "Liga" or "Gira". It was four
letters but hard to read.
