No, they are two different questions.

If you are leaving the company you stand to lose the commission as the
deployment itself is temporary in nature.

If you could arrange a stand in 'an arrangement with someone who could
take care of things' while you are away  - then things would be
different.  You could ensure continuity and your cheques.
