I need help in writing the content for a corporate greeting card to
our clients for the New Year. While I normally write good prose and am
creative with such ideas, I am not only coming across a writer's
block, but also having trouble researching this area online. I need
help in writing a card that will simply:

1) Thank our respected and valued clients/suppliers for their
wonderful efforts in 2005
2. Wish them a Happy New Year for 2006.

While the greeting must be professional, it must also carry along an
image of hope, and convey the fact that this was one of our most
successful years in the history of our company. The key elements in
making this greeting successful are:

1) It has to be short.
2) It has to be hopeful.
3) It must be professional.
4) It must not sound pompous or arrogant.
5) Make the client feel valued.
I am simply lost for words and do not know where else to go. If you
need more information, I would be more than glad to help.

Looking forward to all your answers!

I presume that you would want to use the same greeting for all clients?

I think you nearly have it already! There are probably better ones but how about:

'Many thanks for your valued support during 2005 and looking
forward to working with you again in 2006. Happy New Year!

Charlie, thank you for replying! Yes, you presumed correctly, we will
be using the same greeting for all clients. That was very helpful,
thanks. I may use part of it, actually. I'll be sure to make a
donation!

Anybody else have any more suggestions?

I would like to propose the following:

Dear

Your valued patronage during 2005 helped us to post splendid figures
and enabled us to achieve good mileage in the market space. We
cherish your support.

In the New Year 2006 we hope to make better offers to you and look
forward to achieve many more goals with your continued custom.

Happy New Year.
