How can I get PDFshrink to work on my iMac OS 10.1.5? It is offered as an option in the file menu under services but the words PDFshrink are grey and cannot be accessed? The help menu does not recognise the words Services or PDF shrink. my Mac phone-in help has expired and checking this question on the Mac Web pages is far too complex and I get lost. I want to e-mail 16 page newsletters - with frames and JPEGs and text, in Appleworks word processing - saved as 10 PDF files from Print Preview. Acrobat Reader 5.0 came with the computer. Alternatively, if I could find a way to download PDFshrink Lite I understand it would work but is no longer available. I have downloaded the 10.2 edition "PDFshrink" but I cannot open the PHP file. | |

I would highly consider upgrading your system to at least 10.2.8. With the release of Tiger, That upgrade shouldn't cost you much at all, and it will be a much more stable system. |

I know this does not address the core question, but I believe williamservator-ga was trying to point out that an upgrade to Mac OS X 10.2 "Jaguar" costs as little as $18 at this time. Also consider contacting Apago directly. |
