Looking to find statistical data on motorcycle accident rates in Costa
Rica compared to California (or the U.S. in general, but would prefer
data specific to California).

Costa Rica has a notoriously high automobile accident rate, but I have
found it difficult to find hard data (most sites mention that it is
the second-highest or one of the highest in the world, but with no
actual percentages), so I would also like to see statistical data on
the automobile accident rate in Costa Rica versus the U.S. (or
California in particular).

I have been told by other motorcyclists in Costa Rica that there are
few motorcycle accidents, which I find hard to believe if the
automobile accident rate is so high.
