Depends on symptoms.

The main concerns are "dumping syndromes". Here are some links.
Basically the trouble is that the food bolus leaves the smaller
stomach much more quickly and when the intestine sees this bolus of
food an inappropriate response in blood flow and insulin results
causing symptoms of low blood pressure and low blood sugars.

Dumping Syndrome Diet
-small meals (approximately per day)
-limit fluid intake with meals and up to 1/2 hour after meals
-avoid simple sugars (sucrose, fructose)
-avoid milk and milk products
-increase protein and fat so as to increast total calories

The best thing to do is have a discussion with the surgeon... surgical
nutrition education is often available and would be specific to the
individual case.

You could check these resources as mentioned in medicalcountries.org:
1. Goggle?s ?Groups?(consult with the specific medical Group of
individuals that have your medical problems to learn how they helped
themselves, Subscribe to the relevant Groups listed in ?Conditions
and Diseases? or start you own Group, in Google, on your medical
problem ), 2. Create a ?Google Alert? so if any new information comes
up on your topic Google will alert you, 3. Investigate Macrobiotic
eating as this group of eaters reportedly have less cancer, 4. Read
Michio Kushi?s book on cancer avoidance through eating differently
(free in your library), 5. Search Google?s search engine, with key
words, to locate further information on your desired topics.
