I use a bodywash/shower gel which I love the smell of. I would love to use it to odorise: a) My room b) My clothes As it is basically a shower gel, I can't burn it, or add it in with my washing (I've tried it on an old t-shirt and it will stain the fabric). Are there any sort of methods I could use to achieve what I want? Basically, spread the smell through my room and odorise my clothes. I'm not sure what information will be needed to answer this question, so I can post ingredients (at least what they provide) etc, if needed. I'm looking for safe methods, with the least amount of mess possible! Thanks | |

What happens if you add the gel to a container of boiling water? Maybe the odor is given off in the fumes - or maybe not ... :-/ |

I would try applying some gel to a ball of cotton wool and puting it in a corner of your closet in order to scent clothes. You could put this in a jar or small pot if the shelves are likely to get stained. Or you could put the soaked wool on a radiator and see if the heat causes the room to get scented. Myoarin's idea sounds useful as well. |

You might contact the manufacturer of the bodywash and ask them. |
