I'd like to find a light or lamp that is able to project stars on a ceiling.

I believe I've seen one used in the film "Heartbreakers or heartBREAKeRS (2001)".

I have seen similar light systems but they have all been aimed at DJ's
or large venues, rather than just a normal sized room.

Is anyone aware of a product like this? If possible, I would like to
source one within the UK but anywhere willing to ship to the UK is
acceptable.

Ideally, the item would be able to project moving stars onto a ceiling
and do it fairly well. If possible, I'd like it to be as small, cheap
and quiet as possible, nothing for the professional market, just
personal use.

Thanks

Howdy bumfilter-ga,

I am going to do this as a request for clarification as this might be the
only thing available, but the "stars" don't appear to move.

Star Theater 2 Home Planetarium - £28.50

"Projects hundreds of stars, planets and constellations on walls and ceiling"

If the above will do for you, please tell me, and I will post the above as
an answer. Thanks!

Hello denco,

Thanks for the suggestion but I have seen this one and discounted as
an option, should have posted that with my original question.

canadianhelper, thanks for your suggestion too. However, I already own
a laserpod. It's great at what it does but I've always wanted a star
projector type light, so that is what I'd like to try and get now.

Thanks again!

A neat alternative if you are looking more at creating ambient effects
and not necessarily stars is:
