Unless things have changed a lot in the last 25 years, you will find the list is very short. Mostly companies employ other companies who provide 'below the line marketing' services for things like merchandizing, bolt on sales forces, mystery shopping, promotional work. Often those 'below the line' companies are introduced by, or work through advertising agencies. Employing people directly is expensive, selection and management is a PITA, whereas a company that specializes in supplying a range of below the line services already has people on the books and can set up a 'project' in very little time. Such companies are often called 'Sales Promotion' companies. |

Probably better clarify the question eg: explain /why/ you want to locate such companies - my guess is that you want to work for one in Eire (from the $31.50) - not a bad idea - I have seen hamsters turned into tigresses in my short spell in the industry - it is a good way of spreading wings GA researchers loathe questions with 'All' in it, so any of them spotting this would come up with a canny list of Sales Promotion companies to approach. - also shutting this off prevents further comments <-- NOTA BENE One thing you should know, is that the lasses (and perhaps nowadays lads) who work in this area, maintain contacts with numerous companies - and people that they have worked for - there is a secondary network under the main companies They use 'supervisors' who are freelancers, but choose and nurture their teams. Don't close the question - you might get a superb reply from a GA Researcher - alternatively I might find Jane X's phone number and ask her about her contacts in Ireland Although I left the industry 25 years ago, it still interests me - I also totally approve of it - your worst risk is $31.50 |
