Dear nycvendor-ga;

Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to answer your interesting
question. In the state of New York a person has six years to pursue a
civil action for breach of contract:

New York Civil Practice Law and Rules: Chapter Eight of the
Consolidated Laws, Article 2 - Limitations of Time says, in part:

?213. Actions to be commenced within six years: where not otherwise
provided for; on contract; on sealed instrument; on bond or note, and
mortgage upon real property; by state based on misappropriation of
public property; based on mistake; by corporation against director,
officer or stockholder; based on fraud.?

Since we can't provide legal advice in this forum however it is always
best to consult an attorney about such matters before taking action
based soley on what you learn here.

I hope you find that my research exceeds your expectations. If you
