I am doing a research paper on homosexuals having the right to adopt
children.  I want to know the statistics on the successfulness of
homosexuals being able to adopt children. Please give me numbers on
the successfulness.

provide-- but Dan Savage, author of the Savage Love advice column, has
been on various shows flogging his new book, The Commitment: Love,
Sex, Marriage and My Family. One of the topics discussed is the
adoption process he and his partner went through (Savage is gay). You
might want to take a look at a previous work of his, The Kid, his
memoir of gay adoption that tells the story of D.J., the son that
Savage and his partner Terry adopted at birth.
