Hi all, just a quick question, if its possible....

I currently have 2 Networks, one in my house on a Netgear rp614v2
router using Blueyonder and a 8 port switch using 192.168.0.*, and
another in the bar that i work at 30 Mtrs over the road on a Sparkcom
4 port ADSL modem/router using 10.0.0.* , ok thats the basics.

I also have 2 Netgear WG602v2 APs that support WDS ( bridging etc ) i
was using a few WIFI cards in my house so some pcs were on both
networks, is it possible to set it up so that each building still uses
the own router, but that ALL pcs can see each other??

Many thx and free beer to anyone who can sort this out ....oh and they
have to collect

Dan

You need to get hardware that supports IP routing. This is so you can
tell your computers on 10.0.0.*, "Any time you want to access a
resource on 192.168.0.*, send traffic over ethernet connection #2."
And ethernet connection #2 will lead eventually (via wired or
wireless) to your other subnet.

You'll have to check with your hardware manufacturer/manuals if this
is possible with your current equipment. If it's not, you'll need to
purchase hardware depending on your physical location and what kind of
protection you want each subnet to have, something possibly as
expensive as a NetScreen firewall.

And if you are indeed running wireless, don't forget to enable
wireless security as tight as you can:
