Can LG G4015 cellphones purchased with an AT&T service be used with other services?

Hello.

The LG G4015 operates in two modes: GSM 850 and GSM 1900.

In the U.S., there are two GSM carriers compatible with the phone:
Cingular and T-Mobile.

Other carriers such as Verizon and Sprint are incompatible with the
phone as they do not use GSM.

The phone is compatible with the GSM networks, but be forewarned that
cingular "locks" its cell phones, so you will probably have to find a
place to "unlock" the handset so that you can use another company's
SIM cards, etc... to make the phone work.
