Question ID: 59699
A land trust is different from other types of trust in that the
beneficiary owns only the proceeds and avails of the trust but not the
real estate itself. (The trustee holds the title). However the trust
is beneficiary driven. I believe that in Ohio, Land Trusts are legal
if not by statute law then by Common Law. Question: Ohio code #5309.69
" Declaring trusts......" states that beneficiaries must be
identified, therefore, can the beneficiary be another trust? A trust
domiciled in another state perhaps?
