What is the best anti-virus protection for windows NT 2000 operating
system? I am running Trend micro PC-cillin protection now and it's
worthless. It's
allowing trojans and worms in everytime I log onto the internet.

Have you heard of AntiVir? It works great for me, and I've
tried most of the usual suspects, including Trend Micro:

If you want a free one, go for AVG

If you can spend the money, Kaspersky is highly recommended.

I'm afraid you might be using an old version. Please, remember that
EVERY antivirus program needs to be updated frequently (every 1 hour
is a good choice these days). "Updates" regard to virus signature (or
pattern file as TrendMicro calls it) and scaning engine, while
"upgrade" means moving to newer program version (eg. from PC-cillin
2000 to TrendMicro Internet Security 14). Upgrades usually are
available ~once a year and provide protection against new types of
threats.

You can get a free eBook on how to configure your system so that no
viruses, spyware, malware etc. can get on your system. I've used it,
it works perfectly and you don't have to buy anything.
