Hi, I need a complete list of every make and model of drum kits. I
need all types of drums.
It needs to be formatted as a text file, by make and model like this:
Manufacturer, Model
If you could break the list up by drum type that would be great but its optional

Researchers are very hesitant to lock and research any question that
asks for ALL of anything, and asking for a COMPLETE list is the same
thing. There is know way of knowing if we have located absolutely
every drum set on the market.
If you gave us the drum manufacturers you'd like lists for, that is
possible. Do you know what manufacturers you want to cover?

I understand your concern- what I am after is as complete a list as possible.
Obviously, not every single one can be included though a thorough
search should get most of them. I just did a quick search and found
this site: http://www.harmony-central.com/Drums/manufact.html
That can be used as a guide- everything down (but not including) drum software.
I'd like atleast 500 manufacturers, (and obviously more models
therefore than 500 as each makes a few models)... the more the better.

I'm a bit confused.
Your questions asks for 'drum kits" by which I thought you meant
typical drum sets -- snare, high hat, etc.
But your latest clarification says you're looking for a much broader
list of percussion equipment.
Can you clarify -- what whould be on, and what shouldn't be on-- the
list you're asking for?
Thanks

Sorry- yes typical 'drum kits" is what I want- snare, high hat, etc.

Please see my other question (recently answered)- it contains 484 drum
manufacturers. I'd like for this answer, the models of drums sold by
those manufacturers, in a text file arranged like this:
manufacturer model (note no comma!!)
Please only one per line and arranged by manufacturer. If you can find
any more manufacturers I'd be willing to pay extra for their
inclusion. Thanks

zulu500 -
Your request as recently restated would comprise thousands and
thousands of lines, as each manufacturer could potentially
manufacturer dozens of models. These would have to be manually
researched and assembled.
For $150, I would suggest limiting your list to around 40 of those manufacturers.

I've seen other questions answered asking for every make and model for
$50, another for $75. Eg every make and model of car sold in the usa
since 1980 was only $75.
I've up'd the price to the max- $200 now.

Right -- if a prefabbed list is available, that's reasonable. In this
case, I do not believe there exists a ready-made list with the data
you're seeking, particularly because manufacturers are constantly
adding products here and there. This means the list would have to
be manually assembled.

ok, now I understand.
Please then provide me with the list of models etc for the appropriate
amount for $200 (I'll leave this up to you, though given 40 for $150,
I'd be guessing $200 would mean like 52??) so I can see what its like
and decide if I want to continue with the rest of the manufacturers.
Thanks

Please also pick the 50 or so out from the whole list- ie not just the
first "A" manufactuers but some with names with an A, some from B
etc... to give me a cross section of manufactuers, thanks

OK .. apologies, but I must ask again, since your clarification
broadened things -- the list you're now pointing to from a previous
answer seems to include manufacturers of all types and stripes in the
drum field -- african drums, drum heads only, electronic drums, etc.
Are you wanting JUST traditional parts of an acoustic drum set from
select manufacturers making only those parts?

("those parts" being traditional whole drum kit items: i.e., snares,
kick drums, tom toms, etc. {no parts from these pieces, and nothing
outside a standard drum kit})

ACtually, sorry- on second thoughts- since you are only doing a
handful please limit it to traditional drum kit stuff.
