In 30 sec one will have taken 24 steps and the other will have taken 25 steps and they will be back in step: Let f1 = 50/min f2 = 48/min N1 = steps taken by faster stepper (shorter strides) N2 = steps taken by longer strider N1 = f1 * T(time) N1 - 1 = f2 * T (since N2 takes 1 less step than N1 Divide one equation by the other and solve |
