is there a website that I can access a satellite to view real time
pictures of the earth.   IE   can i get on a website and type in an
address and get a picture of the ground, say at my house. or at a
specific address?

He is asking for real time pictures. Google earth is impressive but
these pictures were, in many cases, taken years ago. I don't think
even our military has high quality real time imaging. You can
certainly get near real time weather photos taken by satellites in
geosynchronous orbit, but these are 22,000 miles above the Earth's
surface. From that distance the resolution is inherently much worse
than what could be seen from near earth orbit. To get real time images
from near earth orbit would take an enormous number of satellites so
that any given area is continuously covered.

It is a good question, though. I'm interested in hearing from others
what is available.
