I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in a remote area of Montana. I
have been in private practice for 10 yrs providing a wide range of
mental health therapy to children and adults. I'm interested in adding
online therapy services and am wondering what is legally required and
what is the best way to go about it? I can put up an acceptable
website on my own and I am set up to take credit card payments. So, I
would first want to make sure I was operating within whatever laws
might be governing such activity, if any, and then some good resources
for getting started, including examples (websites for people who are
doing this showing what they offer and how it works) and places to
link with.
