Hello Sherpaj,
The answer that follows assumes you are referring to Outlook 2001 for
Macintosh. If you need additional information for the older versions,
please ask in a clarification so I can look that up for you.
The "official comparison" is at...
http://www.microsoft.com/office/outlook/evaluation/compare.asp
There is a link to a word document on the right - it includes a table
that compares the versions side by side starting on page 6.
Outside of Microsoft, the best short summary of Outlook 2001 for
Macintosh I found was at...
http://www.win2000mag.com/Articles/Index.cfm?ArticleID=19734
About five paragraphs from the end is a summary of differences
including lack of support for "Categories field, task requests,
task-status reports, and journal items."
Feedback from user's of the Outlook 2001 beta product are available
at...
http://www.macintouch.com/outlookbeta.html
or
http://www.macwindows.com/exchange2k.html
where several users compare the way the Outlook works on both Windows
and the Macintosh systems. The second article lists some limitations
such as the Macintosh user not getting "auto accept" of conference
rooms with a work around.
Most of these differences are related between Outlook 2000 on Windows
and Outlook 2001 on Macintosh. I would consider any new features added
to Outlook 2002 are not in the Macintosh 2001 version, but check the
Microsoft document to be sure.
A page with links to several other resources on Outlook can be found
at...
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/mac.htm
In particular, check out the Discussion section which refers to
microsoft news groups for the outlook product as well as groups at
Yahoo.
If you are interested in further searches, phrases such as...
2001 2002 outlook differences macintosh windows
"outlook 2001" "outlook 2002" +microsoft
can be used.
I hope this answer has been helpful - be sure to ask for a
clarfication if necessary.
