Please refer to Federal Rule Civil Procedure (FRCP) 6(e) and 56(a). http://www.law.cornell.edu/rules/frcp/Rule6.htm http://www.law.cornell.edu/rules/frcp/Rule56.htm An attorney has 20 days to oppose a Motion for Summary Judgment. 3 days are added on top of that to allow for the notice or paper to be served on the party.
