How much of a settlement should be given for the asking amount of $6,800. The automobile is a 1995 Nissan, Sentra. My offer is $3,000. The Plaintiff wants $4,500. Should I stand firm by my offer or pay what the plaintiff will accept? The repossesion was almost 5 years ago. |

Cash talks - B.S. walks. Make the offer in cash. Otherwise you go to court and you take your chances. Doesn't matter what the year or make/model of car. What matters is what you owed at the time of repo minus what the car was sold for, add on interest, legal fees. etc. Be prepared to come up with, say $500 more, cash, to show you really want to clear this up. |
