I'm sure you're all familiar with the computer mouse that has the
wheel on it that makes it so much easier to vertically scroll in
applications. I'm looking for such a wheel built in to a laptop
computer, so that I can easily scroll without having to plug in a
mouse. Are there any laptops that have a built-in scrolling wheel?

Also, it must be a PC and not a Mac.

Older sony vaios have them. The one I'm using has one, they call it a
jog dial. Model number is PCG-R505ESP.

If you don't care about getting an older laptop, a search on ebay for
"sony vaio r505" will pull up a few.

We have an HP laptop that has a mouse field (? use your finger to move
the cursor). There is a ridged area at the right edge that scrolls
when you stroke it up or down.
