The other day I was served with a summons. the top sheet has Civil collections checked. One page is a summons (citation judical). I do owe the money and want to respond with the proper forms. The courthouse clerk gave me the wrong forms according to the law library in the same building. They seemed to think I need to respond on that paper with numbers down the side. I found a basic format for that, but they also said to have a top sheet like the summons or maybe like the civil case cover sheet. It is very frusterating when no one wants to give "legal advice". |
