nonprofit organizations raised close to $250 billion in 2005
(chronicle of philanthropy). in general, I am trying to determine
how those funds broke out:
1) percentage and/or dollar-wise, how were the funds distributed
across the nine NTEE categories (arts, culture and humanities;
education; environment; animals; health; human services;
international; public, societal benefit and religion-related)
2) how were those funds distributed across all nonprofits? for
example, did 20% of all the 800,000 some odd nonprofits in the US
receive 90% of these funds?
3) from a charitable revenue perspective, how do nonprofits in the US
fall? meaning, are there 100 with revenue of 50 million plus? 100,000
with charitable revenue of $1 million or less...is there some type of
chart or graph that groups all nonprofits by levels of charitable
revenue?
some sites i have tried include industry sector; giving usa; NCSS and
the chronicle of philanthropy.
Many thanks for any help you can provide! |
