Hi,

There are a lot of things you can do to improve your Page Rank and
your position on this site. I'm going to focus mainly on :
http://www.sanmicheletravel.com/ because http://sanmich.com.au/
doesn't have anything on it, and http://www.sanmichele.com.au/ is
basically the same site.

Going to this site :
http://www.searchengineworld.com/cgi-bin/sim_spider.cgi

You will find a tool that will demo for you what your page looks like
to a web spider. There's not much there in the way of content when I
use this for your URL.

Google does make an effort at indexing ASP pages, but they also have a
limit at how many they will scan. Your site is all ASP. It looks good
to the eye, but not very good to the bot. This is holding you back a
bit. I would add some HTML pages to the site, make them content
orientated and put them in a directory called asian_travel. That's a
little trick I picked up along the way. Its simple but effective with
indexing still these days.

Check this site for the Google thoughts on ASP pages
://www.google.com/webmasters/2.html#A1

There is a lot of good information on those pages and you should read
them carefully.

While it is true that you don't show up on a query for
"sanmicheletravel" you do show up on this query +"San Michele
Travel" and you are right there at the top, so Google does know about
your page. I don't know why you would be very concerned about showing
up for "sanmicheletravel" other than it is nice to have your name
searchable, but if you really want that to happen, put your URL in the
title tag for the page. e.g.
sanmicheletravel.com -- San Michele Travel Australia's No.1 for Asia
</title>

Personally I wouldn't do that. I would change it to something like
San Michele Travel -- Travel and Tours for Asia </title>
keying the title tag off some of the words on your page. Not many
people search for No.1, so its not doing you any good.

Ask this site to change your email link to a html link, have it go to
your contact page
http://www.globetrottinggourmet.com/go/tours/thai.htm

Doing a link search on Google using this query
link:sanmicheletravel.com
didn't bring up any linked pages to your site. Normally this brings up
all the pages that are linked to your site. You can see this by using
this one instead
link:slashdot.com

I thought it was really odd that they links didn't show up until I
discovered that the ones I found weren't pointing to your site at
all.. but to other url's, so it looks like you don't have any relevant
links to your website. You should change this. Ask sites that have a
PR between 4-10 to link to your site.

You don't have a robots.txt file on your site, this would help get the
robots to index you.

Mainly the reason you are not being indexed for PR is that you are
using so much ASP, and that your front page is ASP. This and the lack
of content on the site itself. Make sure to add the robots.txt as
well.

Here's a good page to read on getting lots of visitors and improving
your PR

Here's another one about the Google Engine

Oh, one more thing... if you are using a program such as Web Position
Gold, let me know. The use of this program will cause you to be
dropped by the index.

I had a comment on Web Position Gold. It is a good program for someone
having a fairly large need for Internet marketing. To say using it
will get you banned or penalized by Google is not exactly correct.
Some people have had some problems with using the reporter portion of
program to run extensive keyword ranking reports in Google from a
static IP like a dsl line. That portion of program is just one sixth
of Web Position Gold and only when done on Google and with a static
IP. There are other reasons someone might want to use WPG and there
are obvious ways to do that without annoying Google or other search
engines.
