Years ago i and some members of my family bought shares in uk dotcom
company lastminute.com My brother now wants to sell his shares - but
we no longer know how many we bought, whose name they reside in or how
to track down the lost documentation. We can't even remember who we
bought them through. How do I track down all this information?

You might check out this link:

It looks like, since your purchase, the company has gone through some
pretty significant changes that may impact your holdings. I don't
know how current the info at this site is, but the FAQs has contact
information for people who have lost their certificates.

You have to contact the registrars of Lastminute.com shares. They
will usually find the information, but obviously need something to go
off!

Usually there would be a fee of around £25 for doing this.

Popular registrars include Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds TSB registrars.
