Yes, I do know that it is no longer sold. That's what makes this a
little tougher. A while back a man told me to just start asking people
if they have seen one for sale. I guess that's what I'm looking for,
if they know where or how I can purchase one. Thanks for your help! I
appreciate it.

you can find all kinds of hook sharpeners for sale on www.bay.com.
simply type in "hook sharpener, fishing" and you'll get all kinds of
responses.
here's what I got:
http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&from=R10&satitle=hook+sharpener%2C+fishing&sacat=-1%26catref%3DC6&bs=Search&fsop=1%26fsoo%3D1&coaction=compare&copagenum=1&coentrypage=search&fgtp=&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=ZIP%2FPostal&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=

this search found a Hypoint DC battery-powered hook sharpener,
a Berkely line stripper and hook sharpener, a Lasky hook sharpener.

hope this helps.

Just a comment here. I do alot of fishing and sticky sharp hooks are
very important. It is impossible to get them as sharp as the japanese
chemically sharpened hooks. I think the best way to go, is to use the
hook for the day and then throw it away. It will cost you a couple of
bucks more, but its worth it if you land more fish. Good luck
