What do you mean by all inclusive? Airfare and Hotel, --or Airfare,
Hotel and Car... ??

A car is not really necessary for a tourist to have a great time in
Las Vegas. I should know, I lived there for 6 years.

Cynthia-ga is right. The only thing a car will do for you in Las Vegas
is make you late for every show. You can walk across the tops of the
cars on the strip faster than you can drive.

I visited Las Vegas for a week earlier this year and found a car
extremely useful. We used it to drive from the airport to the hotel
and back, from the hotel to the Hoover Dam, for the hotel in mid strip
to the north end of the strip, and from our hotel to Fremont Street
downtown. Since car rental was very cheap (around $17 per day for a
midsize), it saved us a lot of money in cabs and buses and a lot of
time waiting and walking miles. While you do not want to drive much
on the strip, a car is very helpful to get to remote locations and
there are several streets parallel to the strip that are easy to
drive.

As far as the hotel goes, I recommend Bally's because it was
relatively inexpensive, was good quality, and great location.

My B/F and I were in Las Vegas in early May this year.

We didn't rent a car and didn't miss having one...

We took buses or cabs if too tired, but mostly walked.

It was a great vacation and we are planning to return next year!!!

I LOVE Las Vegas!!!!

I've been to Las Vegas once, staying at Bally's. As research_help-ga
mentioned - the location on the strip is excellent, the prices are
very fair, and quality is very good. I'd stay there again in a
heartbeat. Walked everywhere... great exercise! Took a bus into
downtown once just to see what it was like.
