Hi GA,
There are clear parallels between the civilisations in Star Trek (ST)
and the current and past ones we have on our planet (W). I would like to open a
discussion about this:
1. Which ST civilisations correspond to which W civilisations?
2. Was this intentionally done by the producers? or just happened due
to lack of imagination? (or am I imagining things?)
3. In order to establish an ST civilisation, you have to emphasize
certain characteristics. Is it unavoidable that some combination of
these characteristics will correspond to a W civilisation?
PS: I did not do any research at all.

Why is nobody interested?
Has this topic been discussed ad absurdum?

I would like to have personal opinions on the topic and dont need real
research. I have my opinions and wnat to see if others think so, too.
If I really needed / wanted facts, I would search on my own.
So who are the Klingons in W? and how about the Romulans?
Take care,
There is no answer at this time.

Hello Can1972,
At first glance, $3 seems less attractive for the wealth of
information you request. My suggestion is you can raise the ante a bit
to make it enticing.

I agree with my esteemed colleague that upping the ante on this
question might attract more interest. However, while it is true that
some questions here attract a slew of comments, and yours might yet
receive some, the fact is that this is not a discussion forum, but a
paid research service. If you want merely opinion and chat on the
subject, perhaps you might try Usenet or any of a host of Star Trek
related message boards, like ,
or Just search on [Star Trek board discussion
OR message] for many, many more.
