First; What are the quantities of Gold allover the world either in central bancks or in mines as reserves and the locations of these miunes if possiple. (Same like oil in the world). Second, I read in the newspapers that more than 80% 0f the holding gold belonging to the national central banks of all countries in the world are kept in the Fed Reserve bank in US. Please clarify this issue |

The New York Federal Reserve Bank offers a service to foreign banks who want to store their gold in a stable, secure country. The United States personally keeps and has kept for more than a century its gold(the gold that used to back up the dollar) in Ft. Knox under the protection of the army. |
