Hello,

How do I find out the number of searches in a period of time of a
search engine with any specific keyword? For example, I would like to
know how many searches in a month that people used google and/or other
major search engines to search the keyword "Jeans".

thks for your help.

Hi fireduck-ga:

I tried, unsuccessfully to answer a similar question some time ago:

I don't think that these numbers are going to be readily available for you.

I doubt that this information is publically available, since it most
likely has a huge value to search engines like Google. I'm sure that
they can use this type of information and sell it for quite a bundle
since it shows what real people are interested in.

If you need specific information about searches (and are willing to
pay for it), then I'd recommend contacting the search engines directly
and be clear that you're willing to make it quite worth their while to
do business with you.

Overture has such a tool. It's called their Search Term Suggestion Tool

From their site:
Not sure what search terms to bid on?
Enter a term related to your site and we will show you:

Related searches that include your term
How many times that term was searched on last month
