Hi, 

Let me start by giving you a little background. I am currently a
junior in a top liberal arts college majoring in economics, looking
for an internship in a private equity, hedge fund or venture capital
firms next summer. The
position should be an investment analyst-type position.

My question is where can I find a list of such alternative investment
firms that hire undergraduates for internship.

Alternatively, a list of  hedge funds/private equity/venture capital
firms that are looking for summer interns would work. (5-10 firms for
each catagory)

My preference would be for more established firms (with more than
300-400 million under managment) that have a history of hiring
interns. Also, it would be preferable that the firm be a US based
firm. Whether the position is within the US is immaterial.

I think this might be a weird question to ask, but any help on my job
hunt would be appreciated. Thanks
