I want to purchase a toy for an child that I remember from my
childhood. It is plastic, about 15" x 20". It is penguins that have
arms stuck out and get caught on the triangular stairs that move up
and down so they get carried up and when they reach the top, they are
set down and they slide down the slide. The penguins just keep
getting back in line to go up the stairs again and slide down until
the toy is shut off. Where can I buy this online?

It sounds like you're describing a classic toy called "Playful Penguin Race."

"Playful Penguin Race This all time classic penguin toy will liven up
any event. Sturdy, lightweight, dependable as well as a great
conversation piece. Great for ages 4-94. The penguins climb the stairs
and then slide down the track, only to do it all over again."

It's also available on eBay:

search strategy:
toy "penguins climb * stairs"

I hope "Playful Penguin Race" is the toy that you had in mind. If not,
