I would like to locate quotes from African American political leaders
such as Jesse Jackson or Barack Obama, from Latino leaders, and/or
from "average" African Americans and Latinos "on the street" that
express their frustration with the lack of political influence/clout
these groups have at the national level, or their sense that
government policies are not what they would like them to be, and/or
that their specific representatives in Congress don't seem concerned
about or responsive to their interests. Relatedly, I'd like to find
quotes from African Americans and Latinos who say that they don't vote
because it won't "change anything" in terms of government policies,
that voting "doesn't matter."
